Having an EP providing expertise and support during my cancer treatment was invaluable to help manage the side effects of the chemotherapy and maintain a level of fitness. The benefit of regular (and appropriate) exercise during chemo was highlighted when I took a 3-week break and the side effects I was experiencing increased in severity. They decreased when I got back into my regular exercise routine.
