Senior ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Dale Ischia - Clinic Owner
​With over 20 years in private practice, Dale is one of the most experienced Accredited Exercise Physiologists currently operating in Melbourne. In 2012, Dale gained her Cancer Exercise Trainer certification with the American College of Sports Medicine, and in 2013 trained with the Vancouver Prostate Centre and private exercise oncology practices. In 2014 Dale returned to Melbourne and established the Moving Beyond Cancer program.
Dale has developed and contributed to Exercise Oncology programs for several prominent organisations, including The Cancer Council's survivourship program; The Alfred Hospital's cancer related fatigue program; The Olivia Newton John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre's Wellness program and many other support services Victoria wide. She is regularly invited to write articles and speak at local and national conferences on the benefits of exercise as a medicine for cancer.
Dale is also a sessional lecturer at Australian Catholic University, lecturing master students in Exercise Oncology.

Lauren Young
Lauren is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. Lauren is enthusiastic about further education and improving her skills having recently gained her Cancer Exercise Trainer qualification with the American College of Sports Medicine. Since graduating several years ago, Lauren has demonstrated a relentless commitment to ensuring she implements best practice exercise prescription intending to improve the lives of Australian men and women with cancer and other chronic conditions. She has worked in private practice prescribing exercise for a wide range of conditions, including cancer, and has previous experience working in both public and private hospitals.
Lauren is a rising star in the field of exercise oncology with invited speaker presentations in 2019 at the Leukaemia Foundation and the Olivia Newton-John Wellness Centre on the benefits of exercise for those with a cancer diagnosis. Lauren is an outstanding Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about providing treatment that is evidence-based, client-centered, and improves the quality of life of the individual.
When away from work, Lauren keeps active through running and rock climbing and spends her downtime with family and close friends.

Steph Gill
Steph is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Master of Exercise Medicine (Oncology) and Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation. Completing her master’s degree with high distinctions in 2023, Steph is passionate about keeping up to date with the latest research in exercise oncology.
Steph has 13 years’ experience in both private practice and hospital settings, with passion and extensive knowledge in many different cancer streams. Steph also has comprehensive experience in neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
Over the past 3 years, Steph has presented to various organizations, included the Ovarian Cancer Association. She is keen to empowered those affected by cancer with the knowledge of how exercise can enhance treatment, reduce side effects and best support their long-term health. Outside of work, Steph enjoys spending time outdoors, tending to her veggie patch and dabbles in a little painting and drawing for her creative outlet.

Benjy Taylor
Hailing from New Zealand, Benjy is our resident Kiwi, having moved to Melbourne to complete his Masters at Deakin University. Benjy is our clinic’s GLA:D certified clinician, specialising in the management of hip and knee osteoarthritis, to help people restore confidence in using their bodies.
Benjy comes to us with excellent attention to detail, care, and genuine interest and passion in helping his clients achieve their goals. He has a passion for exercise oncology, cardiac rehabilitation and chronic pain. Benjy brings with him a sense of community, having worked with the Sweet Louise foundation in Auckland, to help women with metastatic breast cancer exercise. He now looks to grow in his local community through holding talks at prostate cancer support groups.
Outside of work Benjy likes to keep active at the gym and local trails. In the summertime you will find him trying to find the best beach spots Victoria has to offer.

Cindy Roseblade & Ulli Stanway
Cindy and Ulli (pronounced like Julie without the ‘J’) are both highly experienced in reception and administrative duties and make a wonderful team. Together they provide a friendly and calming presence. They look forward to welcoming you to our studio and helping you in any way they can.

They both have a love of animals. Cindy enjoys playing tennis, long walks with Sylvie her border collie and loves to sing. Ulli is from Salzburg, Austria and is always happy to weave a bit of the Sound of Music into her daily work life. She enjoys growing her own tea garden, baking and walking at the beach.

Milly
Milly the Golden Retriever is our much-loved emotional support dog, she knows when people need that extra bit of puppy love. She might keep you company in the waiting room or help you with your exercises.
Milly has a calming influence in the studio, and we have seen a reduction in blood pressure after people pat her. Please let us know if you have allergies or are wary of dogs. We endeavour to make your visit with us as comfortable as possible.
