Balance is extremely important to us all, but we don’t realise it until we start to lose it a little (or a lot). It is particularly important to train to improve your balance as you age, as the consequence of a fall can be quite dramatic. We also recommend a bone density test to establish if strength training should also be a focus.
We offer a comprehensive balance assessment, including tests of postural sway, dynamic balance, and static balance.
We then prescribe a specific exercise program to address the findings of your assessment.
Balance sessions can be undertaken in a group or individual session.
