Balance

Balance is extremely important to us all, but we don’t realise it until we start to lose it a little (or a lot). Your balance can be effected by many things, such as age, deconditioning, injury or cancer treatment. It is particularly important to train to improve your balance if you have low bone density or bone metastases.

We offer a comprehensive balance assessment, including tests of postural sway, dynamic balance, and static balance. We then prescribe a specific exercise program to address the findings of your assessment.
Balance sessions can be undertaken in a group (our Strong & Stable class or cancer class) or individual session.
